Glass Floats

Beach Combing

You never know what treasures you’ll find on the beach. Spend the day discovering tide pools and searching for beautiful agates, seashells, and floats.

Shopping

Looking for some good deals shop at the Lincoln City Outlet Mall or check out the local shops along Highway 101.

Rejuvenation Spa

The Rejuvenation Spa located in South Lincoln City offers massage, skincare, naturopathic treatments, and other relaxing services.

Glass Foundry

The Lincoln City Glass Center situated in the Taft area has glassblowing demonstrations Wednesday – Sunday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. You can also schedule a time to blow your own glass float.

Lincoln City Cultural Center

Just minutes from the hotel is the Cultural Center which offers concerts including the summer Siletz Bay Music Festival, art shows, classes, theater, and is the home of the Farmer’s Market in the summer.

Kite Flying

At one time Lincoln City was voted the “Kite Capital of the World”. There are two annual kite festivals, June and October. Both provide opportunities to see amazing kites. The Shearwater Inn has a front-row seat for both festivals. You can see all the kites and activities from your window or deck.

Hiking

There are many wonderful hikes in the Lincoln City area.  Three favorites are Driftcreek Falls, The Knoll (known as God’s Thumb), and Cascade Head.  Visit Explore Lincoln City for more information.
